Our organization currently relies on community partners like the City of Bloomington and West Bloomington Revitalization Project to acquire materials and tools for our priority campaigns. We cherish these working relationships as a means to further improve our city, but these tools such as trash grabbers, buckets, vests, and gloves require significant coordination and sometimes come with strings attached.
For example, the City of Bloomington provides us tools to complete Downtown cleanups, but will not lend them out for neighborhood cleanups. The WBRP’s Tool Library also has limited inventory and might not have everything available for us to use on the days we need.
On top of trash cleanup tools, our wish list contains organizational items needed to further our cause such as totes for storing items/merch, display signs for when we are tabling, and a megaphone for public events.
