October Events

October Membership Meeting on Thursday, October 16th at 5:30pm

  • This is the first of the “new” format of the membership meetings passed this month. The first portion will contain general membership updates while the breakout sessions afterwards will contain time for committees to conduct business, time for member onboarding, and Strong Towns 101. The following committees will meet on this day: Social Media Committee and Education Committee

Angler’s Lake Cleanup on Saturday, October 18th at 9am

  • Come help restore the beauty of this natural area in Bloomington. Help is needed with control of several invasive plant species such as bush honeysuckle, and the trails need attention so they are more passable. Bring gloves and any gardening tool that helps with pulling or cutting back plants. Park on Meadowbrook Dr. or E. Lafayette St., and walk through the gate. We will meet at the benches just SE of the gate.
