Are you interested in getting involved in Strong Towns Blono? In order to be considered a member in full standing for the 2025 year, one must either be a continuing member from 2024 (you know who you are) or full out an application linked below In addition to the application, you must make a payment of $10 of initial dues to our treasurer.
Members get several benefits including: ability to vote on priority campaigns, vote and run for Executive Committee seats, and generally aid in the direction of the organization.
Once you have paid your initial dues and submitted an application, someone on our Executive Committee will reach out to you to confirm your membership status. In order to remain a member in good standing each year, you’ll have to pay yearly dues:
| Amount of volunteer hours each year: | Yearly dues amount: |
| 0-4 | $20 |
| 5-9 | $10 |
| 10+ | $0 |
For those members who have not paid their dues for the previous calendar year by the annual meeting of the following calendar will become “Lapsed Members.” All Lapsed Members will be notified of their Lapsed status via email from the Treasurer or Secretary with an opportunity to pay their dues. Lapsed Members are not allowed to run for Executive Committee nor be able to vote in elections. Lapsed Members must pay their owed dues to restore their full membership rights and privileges. Lapsed members who go an additional year without paying dues will be removed from the membership rolls, and will need to go through the normal process of joining the organization again, including the one-time new member fee.
Lastly, we have created new category of member, for those who want to help financially support us, but don’t want to keep track of yearly dues through volunteering: Lifetime Membership.” Anyone who pays $300 or more as their initial dues payment will become a Lifetime Member.
