Building Better Communities: How to Start a Neighborhood Association Forum

The Bloomington Revivalists will host a panel discussion about neighborhood associations and the role such organizations play in the community on Sunday, September 29, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Bloomington Public Library.

“Building Better Communities: How to Start a Neighborhood Association”will feature representatives from several existing neighborhood associations in Bloomington, who will share their experiences and insights on the value of such groups. Information will be offered about establishing and maintaining associations to help neighbors work together to improve conditions and create a positive atmosphere. The Bloomington Revivalists are also preparing a resource guide with detailed information about important considerations and actions involved in starting a neighborhood association.

The forum is free and open to the public and will be held in Library Community Room #1 at 205 E. Olive St. in Bloomington.
